Jennifer Gagne is an LPN, with 16 years’ experience as a nurse. Her goal is to meet student/patient goals, whereas guiding them to be healthy mentally and physically. In addition to promoting student/patient engagement, increasing social activity and decreasing depression. Jennifer specialized in geriatrics secondary to her 11 years working as a nurse in long term care, 3 years as a nurse in an outpatient clinic, 14 months as a nurse in chronic care and ongoing currently 5 months as a pediatric private care nurse for a 21 month old in his home, and now as Salve Regina Academy’s School Nurse. She has always dreamed of being a school nurse where her children would study their academics and God provided that wish to her after waiting 10 years. She has a strong value of time management, communication skills, empathy and compassion for others which in turn reduces
stress as well as increases efficiency and effectiveness when working with patients/students on their goals.
Communication between colleagues is inspiring to her. She feels that positive comments towards others is empowering for colleagues to strive in their career as well as setting the foundation for children. “Treat others with intelligent kindness.” She loves the feeling of making a difference in someone’s life, which guided her to the decision of becoming a nurse.
She resides in her hometown of Berlin, NH. Jennifer and her husband Derrick are very blessed with three daughters. As a family they appreciate practicing their faith together, enjoying their children’s sporting events, spending valued time outdoors sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, biking, hiking and camping. In her free time aside from motherhood and her career, she adores her Make-A-Wish families, she is a wish granter for children in the North Country that have a terminal or life-threatening illness, she guides them towards getting one wish of their three choices granted to them. Her passion of caring for and supporting others is a strong value she embraces.
